Popular natural attractions here include the beautiful 633-acre Rockville Hills Park, with its dense forest that shelters a variety of wildlife, and Green Valley Falls, whose incredible waterfalls make it one of the most picturesque places in all of Solano County.
Every August for the last 20 years, the Fairfield Tomato Festival has dished up two days of family fun. Area residents come together to enjoy a car show, carnival, live music performances and, of course, a tomato eating contest. From June to December, residents and visitors alike head to Larry’s Produce. Serving the community for 31 years, Larry’s is one of the area’s most popular destinations for fresh fruit and vegetables and, depending on the season, pumpkins, hay rides, and Christmas trees. From May to October, you can also visit the downtown Fairfield Farmers Market for fresh local produce.
